A. In addition to any other remedies provided for in this chapter, the Director may petition any court of competent jurisdiction for an injunction to restrain any interference with the exercise of the right to enter or to conduct any work pursuant to this chapter. B. The Director is authorized, to the extent of funds available for the purposes herein, to construct and operate plants for the control and treatment of water pollution resulting from mine drainage. Such plants may include major intercepters and other facilities appurtenant to the plant. No such control or treatment shall in any way be less than that required under the federal Water Pollution Control Act. C. The Director may transfer funds to other appropriate state or local agencies in order to carry out the reclamation authorized by this article. 1979, c. 290.
