SECTION 38.2-3320.1. Policies issued outside of the Commonwealth of Virginia  

A group life insurance policy issued outside of this Commonwealth, providing coverage to residents of this Commonwealth, that does not qualify under § 38.2-3318.1 or does not comply with § 38.2-3318.1 shall be subject to the statutory requirements of this title and may subject the insurer issuing such policy to the penalties available under this title for violation of such requirements.
